About Majentek
Majentek® was created in 2024 but born out of a lifetime of identifying practical solutions to everyday challenges and the belief that innovative thinking can lead to extraordinary outcomes. The journey began in Stonehaven, where we started crafting prototypes and finally taking the first steps to bring our ideas to life. We aim for all our products to have minimal impact on the environment through the use of recycled, and recyclable, materials along with fully biodegradable materials whenever possible. We are finding that in some cases it is not yet possible to achieve this aim but ongoing advances in technology are moving so quickly with products in development that will make this possible once they are released to market.
We believe that every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful and impactful, which is why we pour our heart into every idea. With a focus on quality and detail, we aim to ensure that each product not only meets but exceeds expectations.
The inspiration behind our first product
Upon becoming dog owners a few years ago we developed first hand experience of having to deal with ticks but could not find an easy permanent and safe method of disposal. After removing eight ticks in one day we knew there had to be a better approach and so the STickY-Box™ was born (Patent Pending - GB2613051.8, GB2613275.3). Oscar, aka "The Tick Magnet", continues to give us plenty of opportunities to use our own product not just after our woodland walks but increasingly even after visits to grassy parks in our local neighbourhood.
